Neymar X Kim Collab
Never did we think a day would come when we’d see Neymar go shirtless for Kim. Kim Kardashian’s shapewear brand is launching a men’s line. She decided to go with one of the most influential footballers, Neyamer. He currently plays for Al Hilal in Saudi Arabia, to promote her brand.
She announced their collaboration with an Instagram post of Neymar modeling Skim briefs, with a caption that reads, “Neymar Jr. for Skims”.
Kim’s company is now valued north of $4 billion

Davido Balling VDM in Lagos
At this point, Very Dark Man has made a name for himself on the streets of social media, so he needs no introduction. On the 19th of October, Nigerian Afrobeats megastar, Davido flew VDM from Abuja to Lagos in a private jet.
Martins Vincent Otse sent a shock down the spine of netizens when he shared the luxurious room in which he got lodged. He documented his every move while spending quality time with the big dawgs.
As expected, naysayers dragged him by his singlet after bragging about his time with Davido and his self-acclaimed bestie, Cubana chief priest.
Phyna and Davido’s Online Battle
Wahala truly no dey end for social media. Who would have thought that there would come a day when Davido and Phyna would be at loggerheads? It all began after the famous musician liked a hate tweet directed at the BBNaija level-up winner, Phyna.
Phyna’s reaction to the said tweet prompted Davido’s apology to her. He admitted it to be “an honest mistake” while buttressing that he did not even know who she was. This riled up an already furious Phyna and made her go off about being hated so much in the industry.

Trace Awards
Trace took us to Rwanda to host a prestigious award show to mark its 20th anniversary as an all-encompassing music trendsetter. The star-studded show was held in Kigali, Rwanda, on Saturday, October 21. Nigeria was well represented by hitmakers like Rema, Yemi Alade, Davido, and Burna Boy, who emerged winners at the event.
Rema won the categories Song of the Year award for his global hit, “Calm Down” and Best Global African Artist. Burna Boy won Album of the Year for “Love Damini” while female songstress, Yemi Alade won the Video of the Year award. Davido, on the other hand, bagged ‘Best Male and Best Collaboration.
Wizkid’s Mum’s Burial
African music star, Wizkid lost his mum on the 18th of August and laid her to rest in grand style on the 13th of October, 2023.
The glitzy affair was graced with celebrities like Wande Coal, Tiwa Savage, D’banj, and Eniola Badmus gracing the occasion. K1 De Ultimate, serenaded guests, while Tony Elumelu and Oba Ademola Elegushi added glamour to the event.
Madam Jane Dolapo Balogun was survived by 4 children and 9 grandchildren. Although it was a sad event, it felt amazing to see Wizkid supported by his friends, colleagues, and well-wishers.
