Where To Eat This April

I know Mummy Zee encouraged us to wake at 4:30 am to make breakfast but let’s be real, cooking can be extremely exhausting and if you are like me, then you’d enjoy eating out once in a while. I mean, who does not like to feel pampered? Just sit at a chair, order what you want from the menu, and you’ll be savoring the finest of delicacies in a jiffy.

Now, if you are in Lagos, and you have an eat-out planned with your friends, or your partner, or you just feel like dining out this month, then I’m your plug because, in this article, I will be putting you on some amazing restaurants to eat out this month.

Stick with me and let’s have a ride.

Ziya Delicacy Boutique

Ziya Delicacy Boutique is a cafe in Victoria Island. It has a charming leafy ambiance that just makes you feel like you’re in tune with nature. Their menu boasts an array of culinary treasures, from refreshing salads and tantalizing appetizers to decadent pastries and a diverse selection of both piping hot and refreshingly cold drinks. But what truly sets Ziya apart is its captivating sandwich section.

They have a wide range of sandwiches and a section that allows you to build your own sandwich.  ₦13,000- ₦18,000 is enough to eat a decent meal, it’s definitely a place to try out

It’s located at 26B Oju Olobun Close, Victoria Island, and is open from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm.

12 Baguette

Are you looking for a place to catch a quick breakfast or an early lunch, on the mainland?  Then 12 Baguette is the place for you. They are an outdoor gourmet sandwich spot and their sustainable food truck idea puts them on a whole different pedestal.

12 Baguette’s menu is affordable and they serve the best smoothies. With just a few Tinubu naira left, you’d have a place on their menu. A friend of mine got me their Burger, paired with one of their smoothies a few weeks ago and it had to be the best thing since Agege bread. A budget of ₦10,000-₦14,000 will do. They are located at 40b, Oba Dosumu Street, Ikeja GRA, Ikeja.

Brisk Lagos

Craving Italian, French, Continental, or American cuisine, then you should head straight to Brisk Lagos at, 1 Alfred Rewane Rd, Ikoyi, Lagos, Nigeria. It’s an amazing spot for brunch, group hangouts, and dinner dates. With a budget of at least ₦20k, you’re good to go.

The restaurant is open every day, between the hours of 9 a.m and 12 a.m. And when it comes to aesthetics, my baddies are covered as they offer a wonderful ambiance, perfect just for pictures.

Jollof by Jara

If there’s one restaurant you must not fail to visit this April it’s Jollof by Jara. Because who doesn’t love a restaurant dedicated to celebrating all kinds of jollof rice?

With as little as 20k, you can get a taste of their range of Jollof dishes from Nigeria, Senegal, and Ghana, as well as other West African dishes such as Amala, chicken suya wraps, catfish pepper soup, and more.

The restaurant exudes an authentic African flair, effortlessly blending modern comfort with traditional charm. As you step through its doors, you’re enveloped in an atmosphere that resonates with the rich cultural tapestry of Nigeria and Africa.  And the walls are adorned by captivating African art pieces.  Jollof by Jara is located at 33 Fola Osibo Rd, Eti-Osa, Lekki 105102, Lagos.

Grey Matter

Grey Matter should be your go-to this April if you’re looking not just to eat out, but to experience great ambiance and soul-satisfying dishes. There’s a global fusion of dishes that gives you a taste of home and abroad.

They offer indoor and outdoor spaces and a clean and cozy lounge. I’d rate their service a solid 5/5. Grey Matter is situated at 21C Akin Ogunlewe Rd, off Ligali Ayorinde Street, Victoria Island, Lagos. With ₦14,000-₦16,000, you will experience a home away from home. Their opening hours are between 3 pm-12 am.
